For this body of work I collaborated with fellow artist and therapist Maria-Davina Sirpis to visually explore our connection to each other and to the environment.

We used a series of experiments, mostly conducted with the eyes closed, to tune into and visually depict sensations in the body and changes in our sense of feeling and being physically present. This entire process was explored in relation to each other.

Our joint experiments included:

Closing our eyes and letting our pencils move on the paper in response to a body scan.

Letting out all our frustrations on the paper for one minute.

Laying down and having paper over our faces and drawing the feeling inside our heads.

Drawing how music makes the body and senses feel.

Letting each other guide our arm while we draw.

The resulting collection of drawings document our respective internal sensations and the fleeting nature of presence and embodiment.
